does that also mean every transit you change will cost you $? This technology is here for years and the only reason they implement it IMO is to raise their revenue.

I can't believe you need to Tap in and TAP OUT.  What if I forgot to TAP OUT on the bus? 3 Zone by default? yikes.

In HK or London, you need to tap out. Or you will be charged the maximum.
I think it is fair.

where is that tap thing in the bus then? i can expect long delay in getting off...in rush hour.

    no, it's calculated automatically based on where you get on and where you get off.  You don't get to choose what zone to pay anymore.
