well, what i meant was eating those steak entirely raw in chinese restaurants. it wouldn't taste good eating entire steak raw anyways (if you could somehow eat it)

those japanese beef sashimi of course is ok la, but hell, in a japanese restaurant, almost everything is raw ga la, haha.

唔知點解塊生牛肉會冇血水ga 呢

because even if there was 血水, i think they would wipe it down before taking it out public. besides, you won't see the 血水 unless you see the container that it's put in just before it was drained & transferred onto the stone -_-"

derek:

it's not what i believe in....
the fact is... you HAVE to believe in what you see served to you when you eat out.... if alot of people really sees what's going on in the kitchen, i'm sure alot of restaurants will close down their business.

so just pretend everything's fresh & hygenic.... UNTIL you get a tummy ache afterwards

We had been to Boston quite a few times for last few mths, generally is Ok. The steak sometimes is on the tough side.
None the less I gave her a good pass.

Is good to cut people some slack anyways.

The quality at Boston is usually higher when the boss is around.

波士頓? hum... I really have high hope for this restaurants, but the last few times there had disappointed me.

btw, have they changed the cups yet?  They looked so old and dirty last time when I was there.

I went there and had the "日本長尾和牛" last nite. I asked the boss which part of Japan did the "日本長尾和牛" come from, he thought of two seconds and answered "Osaka". I searched and searched on the web, there is no such cow named like this in Osaka Japan at all.
Regardless of the true type/name of the meat, the price of the meal is fairly acceptable. The meat hasn't been "treated" (as most Chinese-Western restaurants will do), and it's reasonably flesh, yet it's a little "tasteless" (not much beef taste). The outlook and texture of the meat was just like something I can buy in Safeway or Superstore-- boneless prime rib. Another thing needs to be mentioned, their service is pretty nice and sincere though, hehehe... !

I think Japanese beef don't have a lot of beef taste in general.
