i can tell you. from a first person's pov. the police is not doing anything for me.

i made a statement yesterday. at the police station. by 5th and cambie. and they said they will patrol that specific area more often.

today. i met the guy again. and i called 911 right on the spot. the lady on the patch line. who took my call. said: since he did not threaten you today. there is nothing we can do.

and she suggested me to go to a different area. (so if a person threaten to beat up a police officer. by the same logic. the police officer should go to a different area.)

and she said: since this is an emergency line. you better call the non emergency line.

so. i came home. and called. and gave them my file number. and she said. next time. i saw him. i should have called the police right away. which i did. and they did not want to help.

and i offered to give them a description of the person. and she. refused to take it. so. i am on my own. again.
