needs to replace brake pad & brake rotor. where is a good reliable and cheap shop in Richmond or Vancouver.
already got the parts ready, just need service.
had 2 in mind, anyone have any issues with them?
1/ Bowma in Richmond next to Yohan, fixed a punture tire that canadian tire cannot, quoted $120 to install front & rear (closer to work)
2/ JRS in Vancouver, quoted $140, recommanded by a co-worker (a bit far)
I have no experience with those two shop you mentioned but you can check out Minit tune on #3 Rd right by Cambie Rd. Jackson is the guy you want to talk to. An honest guy only charging you for what you really need and would not scam you more more work like some of the other shops. Just my 2 cents!
Hi, just an update:
1/ no luck getting pm response from the mechanics
2/ minit tune quoted $200 for do the labour, which is a fair price, while dealer quoted $450+tax
3/ went to a friend's garage, he inspect my front and said no need to change now & service the caliper, changed the rear for $90
