any suggestion for where to get a 500gb external hard drive? any good deals? thx ^^

i got mine from fs. about $120 incl tax. it was on sale. i'm happy with it. no problems at all so far.

Vantec HDD enclosure + your choice of HDD from NCIX - beats most of the re-branded ext. hard disk out there. You get to pick the connection, USB, eSATA, FW... your choice.

try to avoid usb for external hdd if you ask me, takes ages if you have to format a 500gb hdd =(
New LYK is not user friendly and is annoying. Now you can blow me.

I bought a 500gb (from london drugs I think) and the brand is Cavalry.  It looks ok and seems reliable so far.
