Asus Eee PC any good?

Is the Asus Eee PC any good?  The portability and the look is attractive, especially the 901 model with the built-in webcam.

I heard that it cannot run windows unless it can be hacked in some way, so is this worth getting?

It can run Windows for sure, but 4GB SSD maybe too little.

I am not too sure about the new screen's resolution, because the 7" models has odd size that you have to scroll up and down all the time.

If you can wait, the ones with Atom CPUs should be more attractive.

eeePC, 好正, 我有部701. performance as a sub-notebook超晒班
901 is even better, but of course, more expensive
my eeePC is running Windows right now, (i bought it when it first came out)
the eeePC's now have Windows version.
if u wanna increase the storage, u can get a SD card
i got my 4GB SD card for $20.

umm... not really, it lasts 3 hours+ without internet.. I don't browse the web during lecture, so it's perfect for me..

which version of eeePC are u using
i have the 700.
around 2 hrs, cuz i use the internet in lectures. lol

i have a 900 and even with internet it last me about 3 hrs

installing windows is a bit troublesome if u want it to perform well (ie slim down xp)

i'm more interested in the 10" model with 40GB SSD.
