anybody went to Maldivels before???
i really need some help! i'm plannin to go this oct
1.想知邊d酒店靚? (但唔好太貴) 附近的環境較好
另外, 想買package 酒店連機票, 邊間online旅行社有CHEAP package???
My friends went to Maldivels a few months back. But they travelled from HK. The postcard they sent me and their pictures during the trip looks good! Their room is one of those little houses just on top of the water. (you can walk outside and see fishes right there)
I think it's not cheap but not sure if it's cheaper to travel from HK.
yes, traveling from Seattle will save you some money. You just need to stay one night at those stay-and-park hotels and you can park the car there for 7 nights for free.
I have been Maldivels, It was long long time ago, more than 15 years ago.
Back then, everything was just starting, I think the island I was staying might not be there anymore. The airport is on a island, and resorts are single on a single island. You have to make transit in Sri Lanka. After so many years, I really have nothing to suggest. Today, I think you don't have to bring marjong with you like me.
i've been doing research too ~ not to your destination particularly~
but i've found that if you go to seattle to fly~ will probably save you couple hundred dollars
for myself~ i'm still doing the planning~ and i've found that even if i go a day before ~ stay in seattle for one night~ transit and everything~ i still save about 200 bucks flying from seattle~ but maybe cuz my trip is long =.= and expensive~
still~ it's up to you to weight out the costs

don't forget local travel / flight agencies that might specialize in those areas~
what i mean is~ if you're going to asia~ of course go to a chinese travel agent~
but if you're going to europe~ or india ~ or middle ease~ africa kinda places
you might want to explore other agencies~
