frd from hk wants to have japanese all you can eat here, must have oysters, but i have not been to a jpn all you can eat for ages so i am wondering which one in rmd (prefer rmd but vancouver is OK) is better?
Do you know where to buy them? How do you clean them?

They are available everywhere, i.e. T & T,
however, if you want more varieties, go to Lobsterman at Granville Island,
Salmon Shop etc.
Just scrub them with a stiff brush, and pry open with an oyster knife.
For raw oysters, it's best to just get them from good source (not regular supermarket la) and just shuck them by yourself. I got them not from the cheapest place but even Kushi is just less than $15 a ...

We had 3 dozen among 5 of us and it's good enough as appie before the nice mains (prepared by my friend) after.
