don't understand why my friends always drive all the way to portland for shopping? 2 groups of people will go there tomorrow..
who know what kind of shop do they have ?

I just only know you don't need to pay taxes..

But this year (last yr) with baby, hard to drive 10 plus hr .. so max ..  3 hour driving to Edmonton for shopping etc...  so back and fore, just 6 hr drive. ^_^  can visit some friends too.

Not that bad, only 10 hr to Vancoouver, usually start driving in the morning, then Dim Sum in Van ..  play + eat + shop few days in Van ..  then drive to Seattle for a day or 2.

Not for me ar C hing!  So State Tax, no PST, no duty ... (ever)

  When I pay more for almost everything here as an Albertian ...  good to save some when I go Seattle ..
