I want to eat with my hubby in some nice restaurant for our 1st year wedding anniversary...any good recommandations? I don't want a restaurant that's super expensive (can't afford it), but nice enough to celebrate our anniversary together.
I'm so lost in terms of what kind of food I'm aiming for...my hubby doesn't want me to cook for our anniversary (唔想我咁辛苦)...so i guess we are heading out to eat.....
we went to Cannery for lunch.... heard lots of good comments and so excited to give it a try....but very disappointed... we ordered some fresh oysters..but they are not fresh and have sands..... I ordered the seafood platter...tastes so so.. my hubby ordered the lobster meat sth... their recommended dish... another disappointment... sigh...lucky that I didnt pick cannery for dinner....or else hubby will be very disappointed for our anniversary ne... i guess the best part is...I remember to bring the entertainment coupon and save $24 bucks~~!
I presonally DO NOT like food at Lift at all.... But... well... location/view doesn't do anything for me unless food is at least good (doesn't have to be great).
But sounds like OP wants more envo/decor/setting than food. So prob Lift will do on a clear day. (It's at a SUPER windy location and you need to walk outside after parking unless you do valet.)
i would recommend cannery too. for those of u who have entertainment coupons, its something u cannot miss.
if you didn't buy the entertainment book or dont wanna buy one, try to look for just the coupons on craigslist. some ppl are selling their coupons for $1 each.
I like to go to Cannery.... Their food is good and the mood and view are good for anniversary too!! It is a western seafood restaurant..... They are gonna close at the end of March 2010.....
