GF1 w/ EF > m4/3 adapter

Finally got my adapter in tonight.  Tried a couple of my EF lenses, and this one is off my 50mm f/1.4 on the GF1

Oh .. so no "contact" on those adaptor ga la bor ..

On the way to SSP .. but too tired .. went home to rest .. hehe .. check tomorrow sin ..

of course not la!  No AF, no Aperture control on EF lens, but still good if you like to use the lens wide open, or you can pre-set the aperture with a Canon Body (DOF Preview) while unmount the lens.  Then your lens would stay at that aperture..!  With 4/3 lossing so much DOF, it's actually not that bad when using a tripod, and manual focus.. or macro works!

I have also tried my Lens-Baby on it too!!

It's fun to try on Canon EF lenses for $39 bunks!  But then, I went out and shoot alittle with my GF1.  I have to say optical viewfinder is far far better than using that LCD for composition, not during the day outside with the sun anyway!!

don't you think mounting such big lenses on the GF-1 defeated the purpose of it?

Yeah.. It was 1 of the overhead dome light inside the car, and the outside is already all dark.  But then my dome light are all led panel base, which is relatively bright.
