B jai, to tell you the truth, since it's his birthday, I think it comes down which one he likes to get the most. Personally I think DSLR is more useful in the long run; but it is his birthday. Which one does he like to get more?
haha, tell you something, when it was my birthday (last December), my wife bought me a gucci man bag but I really wanted a ps3 too. I felt fine but just a tiny disappointed. I still love what my wife bought for me in the end because it's from her and it's more useful. You know what I meant?

heheee if choose between PS3 and DSLR~~ heheheee I am super PS3 fans..so I will suggest PS3 more than DSLR kekeee.. and indeed~ many great games coming out lately ne XD
x2. When I was not satisfied with the quality of pictures I was thinking if i get DSLR then picture will be better. Yes pictures could be better but need lots more time and $. (e.g. different lens, flash). And of course, 心機 to learn a few techniques.
I think PS3 would be more practical wor...at least can watch Blu Ray movie? And correct me if I'm wrong, it can upgrade to play 3D movie in future? (with the new HDMI cable, and of course, provided that you buy the 3D TV).
