Has anyone lived in UK before?

Hello, I am considering to relocate myself from Canada to United Kingdom. However I do not know anyone there yet.

Does anyone know any good forum or website to know people down there, besdies facebook or myspace?

Thank you Hirokendo. I find tons of links like that on the web, but I am looking for someone who has actually used those sites, or people living there.

I want to rent a place for more than 2 months, so I would like to meet more UK citizens or find some reliable forums.
