also you mentioned you live in apartment... and because of that having a bunny is your only choice. so are you just going to lock your bunny up in a small cage for its whole life? if so please dont get a bunny, because that's just a torture. rabbit is not meant to be a cage pet, they need time each day (at least 2 hrs) to have free run. they are not what most ppl think as cuddly and friendly. it is not rabbit nature to be held or hugged ----- they hate it!!
like cinderelly said, rabbits have a long life span and cost a lot of money to raise... buying or adopting a rabbit might be cheap, but other costs are expensive. rabbits need annual check up and those are very costly, plus there are not a lot of rabbit-savvy vets in vancouver. so do think thrice before you bring a bunny home.

they should be getting a ton of bunnies.. since it's right after easter =\
ppl usually buy bunnies around easter thinking they're cute, but soon after they'll decide they actually don't want the bunnies...
bunnies live relatively long. they live to about 7 to 10 yrs old.
please make sure you're ready to commit your time and $$ before you make the decision

They are not super cheap here. And they should live at least 1 to 5 years.
Here room temperature (unless well heat) can varies during the year. So it's better to have a heater in a betta tank. That's most likely not required in Asia, esp in HK.
