1 arrested in Richmond racist graffiti case

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british ... acist-graffiti.html

See this comment, omG
If they want to live in, shop in and work in a fully Chinese speaking community, then expect the locals to get up set. I have been to these various malls and frankly, as a white person, I was rudely ignored and shunned. So i left and don't give them my business.
As for "Hate Crime" ... oh please. this is just the local boys and girls reacting to their home being taken over by wealthy out-of-state people who have no wish to join us in Canada, no they want to make their own little bit of China in Richmond. The enclave in Richmond should consider being more Canadian and maybe less of these kids will feel this way.
This is not Racism ... it is not the race of Chinese these kids are against, it is the culture of wealthy asian's who bring their entire extended families to live here in Canada, use our public system health and wealfare system, yet the $$$ earner still lives in Hong Kong so they pay no tax yet cost the system dearly.
How should we "Push Back" against these types of things? How would SUCCESS like the unhappy displaced locals to act? what things have the ChiCom community done to intergrate into Richmond? All I see are endless streets of mainly chicom signs and a lot of people who can't speak one of the two official languages.
We need to work together, all sides to learn to live together, all sides learning to adjust their ideas of fair play. Accept our differences and take the best from all.

Or we can keep going the way we are, wait for the MLF to start their defensive operations and hope there is enough left in the ashes to rebuild from.

MapleLeafForever!

    Agree
Many mainland chinese here are fking up the image of "Chinese"
When ppl ask me where i come from i would tell them i come from "HongKong" ...."before 97"  and i'll explain to them the difference between hongkong chinese and the mainland chinese people.  Different languages / Different Laws / Different money / Different education / Different living style / Different manners / Different common sense

Will anyone of you here that born and raise in Hongkong(including your both parents) will tell people that " You come from Mainland China?" even hk is part of china now.

Canada is for everyone(any skin color) if you're canadian citizen than you're Canadian.  White people never "own" this place. They were once moved in here from europe/stats/other places. I've been living here almost 20 years.  From my experienced many white people that hate the asians are because some asians are more wealthy than they do.
For example when some asians drive BMW/Benz/Porsche/Lexus ...fancy cars.  The white will just hate us because of that.

A poor white once asked me how da f did you get your porsche?  I said Get a better job or better parents that worked their ass off for you.
你好嬲呀?

We are going to stand firmly behind our Cantonese dialect. We do not need to care what foreign detractors think about Cantonese.

As you can tell, you say some of them but not most of them... Same as you, I see some of them are really polite but most of them are pretty "rude" (or at least, casually impolite...)

At least 1 generation... If they still keep 1 kid policy (which spoil kid as the usual ...

The so-called "one child policy" is only for people in the cities, not for those people in rural areas. Rural people can have more than one child.  Also, couples who are the only child in their families, can have more than one child. Also, many people just pay some "fine" to have more than one child, or just for pay the children's education themselves. So there are so many exceptions to the rule.

For those who do not know about the exceptions of the one child policy, please read here:
