VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A house fire near Nanaimo and 29th Avenue in East Vancouver this morning could be the work of an arsonist. Captain Gabe Roder with Vancouver Fire says it looks like fires were deliberately set in the house and in the garage.
Roder says the house suffered considerable damage to the outside of the home and serious damage to the inside. "It will take a little bit of work until someone can live in that home again."
There were no injuries, but a cat was found dead in the home. Investigators are still trying to determine an exact
