•Shooting in Delta
LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) - It's shaping up to be a busy morning for police in two Lower Mainland communities.

There's word a man has been shot in Mission. Mounties haven't confirmed any of the details just yet, but we can tell you the victim was apparently hit in the leg and shoulder in after what looks like a targeted attack.

The injuries don't seem life-threatening. We hear he has been airlifted to hospital.

Police in Delta are also collecting evidence this morning after a 25-year old man was shot in the lower body near 116th Street and 83rd Avenue. That attack happened around 9:30 last night.

Sergeant Sharlene Brooks with Delta Police says, "We've got one victim who suffered non-life threatening injuries. Those involved are not cooperating with police at this point."

She tells us police are still trying to figure out if it's gang related.
