Be the first to Comment 0 Recommendation(s) VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A two alarm fire, burning four businesses on Broadway between Cambie and Ash, is keeping Vancouver firefighters busy this morning.
Captain Gabe Roder tells us flames broke out around 6 a.m., but everyone got out safely. "Right now, there is no cause to the fire. But we're happy to say there are no injuries involved.
No traffic is getting through. TransLink says a few bus routes are affected:
#99 B-Line and #50 are being re-routed: Broadway to Cambie, Cambie to 12th, 12th to Oak, Oak back to Broadway.
#9 is being re-routed: Broadway to Main, Main to Pender, Pender to Richards, Richards over the Granville Bridge, back onto Broadway.
The closure is expected to continue through the morning commute.
