VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's not called the Wet Coast for nothing. And much like last year, we're expecting a balmy and snow-free Christmas this year.
Environment Canada is calling for a very green December 25th in Vancouver or Victoria, with the chances of a Christmas Day dusting being slim to nil along the BC coast.
Some people News1130 chatted with said they were OK with the lack snow. One man told us this is his first Christmas back in Vancouver, after spending six years in Australia. He said despite the transition from the hot weather, he's enjoying the cool rain.
Meanwhile, most Canadians nationwide can expect a white Christmas. For BCers, the only snow we'll see is piled up behind ice rinks or being sprayed from a can.

Snow blanketed the Lower Mainland for a day in November 2010. It caused several independent school closures, and havoc on the roads. |
