Be the first to Comment  0 Recommendation(s) SURREY (NEWS1130) - Three women inmates at the Surrey Pre-trial Centre caught the H1N1 flu just before Christmas.

The Solicitor General's ministry says the trio were given Tamiflu as soon as they started showing symptoms and they are being kept away from other prisoners.

One of the women has recovered while the other two are still getting better.

The ministry says seeing flu cases in jails is not unusual this time of year. Jail guards have complained about overcrowding at provincial jails in the past.
