I think there are several solutions to this.
1) Use a smaller camera. People generally don't like big DSLRs.
2) Try to act like a tourist. Don't just point the camera straight at them right away.
3) Talk to them and act friendly.
I actually get asked to take pictures of random people on the street. I guess having a cool camera helps. |
