Hi, I've posted these before in the old LYK forum. Enjoy!

This is my first ever clay project I learned. It means a lot to me.

I have seen them for sell .. (similar) but .. so expensive ..

yeah lor. expensive due to material cost, time and "heart blood"!
only people who are a fan of genuine art or handmade goods can see the value. I must say that it's not for everyone. Ie: I won't pay millions for a painting of Picasso lor coz I don't like his paintings at all!

Most likely ＂啤 ＂出來的 .. not hand made la..   

Some of my friends in HK .  they like those stuffs too .. saw some co ...

Thanks for the info! i've called a hk supplier. They said only have one customer in toronto, non anywhere else in Canada!

Yeah, it pxxses me off that the ＂啤 ＂出來的 .. not hand made ones are low quality, poor paint job ones actually sell so expensive! No heart into making them at all! Makes us crafters look bad coz we put in so much time and heart into our creations!

I saw something like a "CLASSROOM" for doing that in Japan ..  I didn't take a closer look .. just saw many women ..  in a class, my wife told me they were making little food toy ..

Edmonton and Calgary?  not a chance people will make or sell those la..  lol

Catpiano. Where have you seen these for sale? Calgary or Edmonton? I have not seen the entire sets but just the smaller items. The store in Aberdeen food court in richomod Vancouver sell some food items but they are mostly ＂啤 ＂出來的

Marimo, you are so lucky! Please bring back your works if you learn! You can buy books from there! I order here and I have to pay 2x + shipping vs if I buy from Japan. Darn! I wish I thought of buying some while I was there 2 yrs ago.

I used a variety of clay. Some times alone, some times in combination with other clays. All of them are made in Japan so far that I've used. I don't work with North American clay such as FIMO.

This year, I will be busy with marriage, house shopping, moving, getting settled etc. I may consider starting classes. If that's the case, I will post or notify you individually. PM me with your name then I could keep you in my list.
