Yes, just decor your beloved sweet home as much fancy as you like, make sure you enjoy living in it. Then if you care for a faster and easier resale, consider to repaint it in the future later on.

haha I went benjamin moore today 2 get the sample paint for free today...
gonna try it out tmrl once i hav the key... xP
lets see how it feel... if okay... then I will start go for it... LOL
I pick the color...valentine's day 2077-60 lol... hope it won't look weird HAHA...

Be more concern with what you like coz YOU are the priority. You need to feel comfortable and happy with a place you can call home where you spend hours each day and for years! Painting is a small amount of investment but the effect is huge! Worry about changing the color before you sell which could be years down the roll. You may need to repaint anyway coz normal wear and tear will occur anyway. Again, it's not too much spending.
If you are choosing color for the purpose of selling, that's a different story.

LOL... My daddy will repaint it for 2 white sure... when we sell... LOL

For personal admiration, you can paint whatever color you like. But if you're going to resale your property in the future, anything other than "normal" would be considered more difficult to sell. ;b

    During weekday I only paint after work, so it's like 3 hours a day on weekday, plus full day on weekend. But to cover the previous dark colour, I need to clean the wall, sand, and prime...then paint...not that straight forward.

Just to clean the brush takes half an hour la...

    It's not an easy job...my arms are really, really sore after the work. Took me one week, 2 people to paint 700 sq ft. (+ 5 hours to mask/tape the 牆腳線)
