Blaming the government is useless.
Please give your advice, if grassroots soccer, kids league, high school leagues and university leagues etc are not your tastes.
Many countries are more successive because they have amateur leagues for all age groups.
I gave up... It becomes so dirty when there's gambling for the games...

However, how many people are interested in playing any amateur sport? If you are interested and talented, there is little that prevents you from playing a sport.
In Hong Kong, Taiwan and even here in Canada, a lot of Chinese parents focus on education. For extra-curricular activities they send their children to piano classes, and ballet classes etc. Sports is just not as popular.
The young people themselves should take the initiatives to play any sport.

It won't change anything without removing the corruptions from the very top to the bottom... The ethical standard is so low for the whole sport in China.
I don't think there would be any changes... new bottle... old wine...

The interesting thing is if they want to win anything, they need to have good players to begin with. Every country wants to win, but you need to use the right method. For team sports like soccer, the government should have a hands off policy.
From what I understand, they need to allow grass roots soccer to develop itself. China needs to strengthen their highschool soccer leagues and university soccer leagues, especially for the girls.
For men's soccer, the Wanda group has agreed to rejoin the league. Let's see what Wanda can do for Chinese soccer.
