It doesn't look bad, does it?
This is the congee type of breakfast. Served with pickle and some shredded salmon. I had it at a traditional Japanese Guesthouse.
I also had one with rice, poach tofu, grill salmon (very small piece), tamago (Japanese egg omelette), miso soup and natto ! Made by a friend when I visited Japan. I liked it.
Had similar one at Marulilu which you can choose tofu or natto. btw.. I saw a lot of "western bakery" in Japan, especially near the metro/train stations. I guess it depends on which area you are in and they have different type of stores. |
