I think HK pork chop rice tastes differently from Japanese one, IMO...
Usuallly for HK style, the sauce came with either sweet & sour or simply tartar on plain rice...
For Japanese, they could have that in curry paste or Katsudon (cutlet bedded with a layer of semi-cooked egg mixture of onion & misc. vegs)... |
