I want to try to eat Spot Prawns Raw.

Does anyone know a good clean store to buy, and do you need special treatment (frozen) to eat them like sashimi?

    Well. i only eat raw when I go fishing and catch the prawns right from the sea.

我之前都在 TnT 買過, 食完都冇事, 不過我唔係生食, 係就咁放滾水煮15-20 mins, 蝦肉非常鮮甜~~~ ...

Cooked prawn are much better than raw prawns. But the best way is to steam them, as this will preserve the flavor. Putting the prawns in boiling water will dilute the taste.

Really?! I only tried to buy those smaller shrimps (with heads) there, like $10 a big tray of 4-5lbs! Thanks for the tips, I might go check spot prawns out there! :)

    don't look for prawns sold by Vietnamese, the quality is not that good

    They are the best I ever have for sashimi. Very fresh, you can't tell when they were caught.

Actually, I did quite a few times at TnT too, haven't got sick of any kind....ye ...
