Not sure how to ask this in the right way.
想請問下, 有無人試過用 iphone 4 或 android 3G/4G tether 去部 laptop 度睇 Youtube?
會唔會唔流暢呢?
我想用睇 Youtube做一個標準比較.

小弟從未試過用 smart phone 嘅 data plan, 想知 tether 去 laptop 會唔會好慢. 唔穩定.

亦都唔識睇咩data 幾多錢/mb. 因為一向都只係 Shaw 無限上網.
咁係唔係 download Youtube 睇會好貴? 睇幾個 video 就要比好多好多錢?

小弟將去一個地方比較難搵 wifi.
請指教. Thanks.

Rogers HSPA should be about 4-5M average. For Rogers LTE, I clocked at about 22M.

I have been using Mobile Hotspot rather than physical tether.

I dunno about iPhone 4....

I tried uploading a 500MB Youtube video. Through Shaw + Wi-Fi, I was quoted 90 minutes for the upload....

Tethering through iPhone 5 w/ LTE, it was done in 5 minutes....

tethering is pretty stable and the speed is acceptable. I can play Startcraft online with tethering. So it shoudn't be too bad.

But for sure, you should get the plan with 6GB. Don't go with 1GB plan, you could be ened up paying the same price or more for 6GB.

I found even browsing web pages still takes a lot of data volume.
