尋晚個車房門開唔到，開咗少少就唔上唔落，急call人整，整咗不過無咗盞燈同埋個地sensor唔work，又要整過。。。sigh...

Thx Quest. I notice another problem with my garage door. The door does not seem to close completely. I can see lights coming through the 2 sides of door, but not from the middle. So strange! Is it something wrong with the bottom weather seal or other parts of the door? Thx

typical top lifting garage door comes with a bottom seal (*vinyl) that can be replaced easily when necessary. Nobody that I'm aware of would seal the sides due to sliding surface (rub off easily).

Incl. my own, many newer installation of the sheet metal garage door types now comes with some form of foam boards cut to size and taped to the back of the garage door to keep the heat inside.

Has anyone DIY on weatherstripping their garage doors? Bottom and sides? Where can we buy the parts from? Or is it something you have to hire professional to do?

有很多可能性:

1.        Sensors對不準，徧差了（但未至於處於off狀態），門開始下降，軌道會有震動或輕微變位．有可能引發回彈．
2.        Motor陳舊了／軌道滑輪磨損／鑼絲鬆脫，推門下降阻力大了，引發假的overload，你試試在motor加一點下降力．
3.        你可以吓解開motor與門脫離（門頂的手拉制），用人力，拉起門，及放下門，看看是否順滑，有沒有任何位有頂住卡住感覺．

各位老友記好，我係新仔。我個garage door 又係落唔唒就彈返上去！試過reset remote, 第一次得喎！跟住度門又彈返上去！sensors 出問題？請各位老友指教。

噢，　jam死咗，但你又較power level，咁有機會overload．

不過一般的motor有overload protection.

我感覺第一個維修是基本換彈弓，但軌曲了可能要較過啲軌，因而影響了sensor.

第二個維修大有可能是誇大，要你換多了東西．

不過己是過去，算了．

多口問多句，你是換一條彈弓，還是兩條呢？　因第一條斷得，第二條都差不多時間了．　
亦因舊彈弓的力度因老化，會與新彈弓產生一點不平衡，門上落會有點徧力，長時間會增加磨損．
