Where to do eye exam? exam, eye, Where

Hi guys, where can I go do take an eye exam? (not just checking what my eyesights are, but a real eye exam performed by an eye doctor).

and also, how much does it cost?

She's very nice and thorough.
I dunno about the price, cuz I got really high prescription so I think healthcare or sth covers part of it.
Just went there yesterday; I paid around $50.
I dunno abt other clinics, but here they hv this thing that can take photos of the inside of ur eyes. You can see the nerves and blood vessels in ur eyes.  The doc will discuss abt the photos with you.

If you need to get new glasses, there's a Chinese guy there who helps ppl with glasses and he'll tell you about the good and bad of all types/brands of lenses.

In reply to one of the posts above: when u go check your eyes, it's not just about the prescription.  They should check the health of your eyes too.

I go to Brentwood Mall's Burnaby Vision Care 604-291-8825. I think it's $85?? You'll hafta call them & ask. I think that they are good.

Totally agree.  I went there too. I'd rather paid higher price to see other eye doctor.

I Did mine at

Dr Lloyd Ho & Associates Optometry Center last year.

It is at Richmond Center, just out side of The Bay

Don't remember how much, you can call and ask 604-276-8557

If you are working, you might want to check your company's extended health care plan, they might included eye exam every 2 year

Went to the one in Metrotown near T&T and the entrance/exit...I think they charge me $8x...can't remember

I think they're OK, depending which optometrist you get; they have a few there.

i don't know the standard of the eye exam.
at least the RX is right and i can see clear.
that's good enough.

So far i can't find really good one.
