just wondering who went to BCIT~~
Is there a difference between the Downtown Campus and Burnaby Campus?
I'm jus thinking which one I should go to~
If Downtown one, I have to bus all the time, If Burnaby, I can drive, cuz the parking is lots cheaper.
If you taking classes at nite, you won't have trouble find parking lah. You can park anywhere after 4:30, so you can park @ the staff area.
Well there's always parking.. but..
If you have 8:30 class, you can park fairly close..
I usually find myself parking a 10-min walk distance if it's for a 9:30 class..
There's onlyl 1 lot that's full of "dirt & rocks"
but unless you are studying Trades.. I don't think you would park there
and that parking is full very early.. b/c i think the students start at 7?
This is so not true. When I went to BCIT bby campus, there was once I used an old ticket but guess what? I got fined.....
this trick doesn't work. my friend did that. it worked for the 1st few times. but then one day, he got fined AND his car got towed too. it's not worth it. don't do it.
lol... I still remember my good old days in bby campus...
one parking ticket last me a term... (just to be nice to get a new ticket la) I think it was something like $1.50 or $2.5...
The old ones that you insert with coins to push it into the machine in order to get a ticket works well for me
those guys see you have a ticket in front of your dash... they just skip your car to the next car.
I don't know if they have new tickets that print date and time now...
Parking pass was something like $85 a term or something back then?
Although Burnaby parking is cheaper than downtowns, sometimes you need to park very far away and so far that it might take you 10-15 minutes walk to the main building (if it's snow and slippery)

haha...ya..cuz I hate taking the bus especially when its dark and cold..plus parking in DT is expensive and hard to find. And, all my courses can be taken at DT or Burnaby anywaz..haha
