We tried this place again last weekend with some friends. We ordered a lot.
And as I expected, their sushi and sashimi isn't as good as their cooked food. They were OK. But not very tasty.
I would stick with cooked food next time I go there. ^_^
Love their dobinmushi.

I try it yesterday, the food is average, the service is good

I just discovered that place recently, and like it very much.  Now it is my first choice for Japanese food in Richmond.  

But they always have long line up

the food here comparing to the food pictures in their website is totally off ! lol..... ...

We got a very dimly lighted table. So we had to use flash with a cell phone camera. The actual food looked so much better. Closer to their online menu pictures.
I really like the fish cake appie. It may not be so speical for someone else. but it's fish cake made from scratch with fresh fish and veggie. And I didn't feel thirsty after the meal.

haha .. I still go .. I'm a regular.  It's just a 5 mins drive from where I live ... much closer than No.3 road for the 港式 ones anyway.

DOn't get me wrong .. my wife goes with me as well and we both agree that she was pretty.

I go to  一朗亭 twice a week cos it's just so close to where I live ...

They used to have a very pretty Japanese waitress in this Summer ... haven't seen her la ...

You went there for the food or for the waitress? haha..
