理髮、乾洗費﹕人們不能明確申報這些項目﹐但T-4表格的申報人每年大約有150元的乾洗及理髮抵稅額。- 明報
Hair cuts, dry cleaning, clothes
These cannot be claimed specifically, but there is a general tax credit available to any one with a T-4. It provides about $150 savings each year to cover expenses such as dry cleaning and hair cuts. Filers do not need to itemize or list their expenses on their returns, but are instead eligible for the deduction if they file for it. - ctv.ca

anyone has any further information?  which line should we report the $150?

Unusual Tax Deductions Denied

The cost of a haircut is not deductible against employment income even when you are a serviceman and you are required to get one every two weeks. (Rouillard v. The Queen [2000] 4 C.T.C. 2065)

Okay.

I was really bored.
But here is one condition that you can claim your dog.

Animals - the cost of a specially trained animal for use by a person who is blind, profoundly deaf, or has a severe and prolonged physical impairment that markedly restricts the use of their arms or legs. In addition to the cost of the animal, the care and maintenance (including food and veterinarian care) are eligible expenses. Reasonable travel expenses incurred for the patient to attend a school, institution or other place that trains him or her in the handling of such an animal (including reasonable board and lodging for full-time attendance at the school), are eligible expenses. The animal must be provided by a person or organization whose purpose is training such animals.
For 2008 and later years, the eligibility to claim the cost of specially trained animals and their related expenses, has been extended to persons who are severely affected by autism or epilepsy.

Tax lawyers would get no businesses if all people all strictly follow to the tax rules.  If you are rich enough and want to spend some, why not go claim more tax credits if you want to.

your question is, can you? yes you can, you can do claim anything u like, but prepare to get audited and get a big tax bill in your mail, lol.

if u r blind, u need a guide dog, then i think u can claim the dog food, not too sure on this, but MAYBE yes, too lazy to check.
New LYK is not user friendly and is annoying. Now you can blow me.

I guess you can argue that as long as you can proof to CRA how the dog can make you healthy mentally/physically.

The question now is how are you going to justify that? Get a psychology doctor's prescription to get dog food in order to make you happy? hehe

my mum came up with a funny question, if we are able to claim 整形, my dog make my 心理和身體健康, can we claim the 狗糧.

Ok. So I read the CTV article again.
It says:

Bad debt

An "Allowable Business Investment Loss" deduction may be granted if a small business corporation owes the tax filer a "bad debt." This can also be applied in cases where an individual owns a share of a small business corporation that has gone bankrupt or insolvent.

So I guess the reporter in Mingpao just translated to Chinese (or the other way round?)
I think the reporter is a little confused with bad debts and abil.

"""But isn't it better? one agent is specialized in an area which your questions are more likely to be answered correctly?"""
yes, more confident, but long wait.  i need to wait 3x more ma.  and two of my questions needed to refer to someone in the east, wait another day ar.
but i think actually it is good, at least they removed the recording, something like " the agent is not responsible for the accuracy of the answer", i remember they have it for few years.
