You are one of the few here who actually understands the situation. But, you know, it is going to take some time to improve the quality.
Japan started its modernization during the Meiji era around the 1860's. It took them over a hundred years to catch up with the western countries.
Japanese products were not even above average yet, even in the 1950's and 1960's, but their patriotic culture was to buy their own national brands first.

If China wants to setup their own brand stores, they have to improve their quality first. Japanese buy their own brand because their products are at least above the average and they have confidence on their product with better warranty too.
