I am a total fans of arts. I went to 4 in Rome, 3 in Florence, 2 in Venice on my last trip and I wasn't tire of it. I am planning to spend at least 1 whole day at Louvre.

Rome has a similar pass but it includes 2 attractions and transit pass so that's a more flexiable deal.

I think the best part is to skip the line ups because there is a pass only entrence line.

Shouldn't we talk about paris in the other thread?

I was there about 5 years ago, I don't think the museum pass is THAT worth it.  Especially if you are going to London also, and you will be visiting British Museum (it's really worthwhile to go) for at least half a day, and you WILL go to Louve for at LEAST half a day, and after those 2 BIG museums, you are sorta sick of paintings and museum stuff, so you don't really want to go to another museum anymore.........

So unless you are SUPER fan of arts stuff..... You might want to do something else.

May be we can share info on Paris and London.
For Paris, are you going to get the Paris Museum Pass?

if you'll be there on a weekend, Notting Hill and Portabello market is good place for strolling. Many interesting stores. And if you like coffee & tea, looking for the "Coffee Plant", they have very nice organic coffee and special teas.

I want to see ppl's personal replies. Most of us knows how to google and look at travel sites like TripAdvisor.
I wouldn't go to London for eating trips

Exactly, that's why for me London part of the trip isn't for food. France part is.

London literally has tons of places to go and visit for sight seeing purposes. You can be there for months and still wouldn't run out of places to visit. A few quick Google searches will give you endless lists of places to go.

Of all the places you see, be sure to check out the British (Royal Pirates) Museum though. Admission is free, and you get to see all the loot that the Royal British Pirates has stolen from all over the world.

As to eating, Britain is not particularly well known for its food. Scotland has a few interesting traditional dishes, but regardless of where you are, food is gonna be super expensive. I wouldn't go to London for eating trips.
