They used to be New Shanghai Kitchen on Edmonds St. They relocated to close to BCIT. I've always like them. Try out for the first time today and WOW! So much more in their menu. Lots of authentic Shanghai food selection! Fast, good service, clean, price is reasonable but best of all, the food was delicious!!!!!

Reservation is ideal. Parking is really poor though.

yes, if I remember correctly, they only have 5-6 parking stalls.... and you cannot park on the street neither...

Good that you have good experience there, myversa.  The only complain is parking there.  Once it is full, you have no where to go.

I went there last night and I was pleased.  I ordered the same fish Zuesel ordered and almond chicken.  We did not taste any MSG since we did not feel any thirsty afterward.  The price was reasonable and the dining environment was good too.

I live near there too, 4 minutes away! I should try it sometime since I pass by it everyday

really? that's too bad. when the 5 of us went for dinner, all of us were very pleased. Especially the broth. We were expecting MSG but hardly any inside. I usually get very thirsty even just a tiny bit of MSG but I was fine after the meal.

Maybe their afternoon chef and consistency needs improvement.

I live by Middle gate Honda. Driving to BCIT is about 10 mins.
