Big White ski trip

it was my first time going to big white and first time on a ski trip!we rented a house and stayed for almost a week there~~~
but then I was just a beginner so getting down the hill was already a challenge to me so of cuz I couldn't spend much time taking pictures and impossible to bring my dslr up there. I bought a small prosumer DC for this trip too, so some of the pictures (wider ones) were taken by that camera.

last one, this picture was taken by a friend who got there before us and they went to supermarket to stock up one week of food for 20people. Cashier was amazed to see this long long receipt from 4 carts of food. total was like $1.2 omg~~~

I think it wasn't a lot bigger than yours. I think there were 5-6 rooms. Some rooms had bunk beds
but there were 20 of us staying there. Some people had to sleep on the floor. We had an elevator in the house tim lor LOL

at least 7 days...........lucky~~~

I brought all my camera gear with me for the trip too
but couldn't believe I was not in picture mode for the whole trip!
First day we arrived to big white just before evening, but was tired from the 4hr drive too
2nd, 3rd, and 4th day was all going out for snowboard. Everyday when we were done everyone was just dead tired and super hungry~
last day was for heading back to vancouver, and I only took a few pictures during the ride back lor

It was Xmas day 2 years ago. POWDER snow everywhere... I fell a few times...thinking that's fun.... Until I was trying to turn right on the ice... and I lost it.. .
land straight on my shoulder... initially everyone tho I popped it.. but after X-ray at Lions gate....It was found broken... PAINFUL... and I keep throwing up with Morphine that they gave me. Well... the most painful part was waiting for the recovery... I took 3 months off work. (no "cast" is available for broken shoulder and it's not shetter enought for surgery)

Advice: wear your helmet and board with friends so someone knows what happen to you in case you need help.

That's too "luxury" to take 2 days for warm-up.    We only able to afford 2 runs to warm-up.  

Last couple trips for us were 4 days if going to BC interior.  Either leave on Friday afternoon or evening, start skiing Sat - Sun - Mon morning, then head home after lunch.  4 days trip with 2.5 days on snow which is not bad.  Obviously not as relax as yours.  It is short, but with a big group, it is hard for everyone to take that many days off.
