Hihi,

anyone giving birth in 2011? any new moms here?
where do u guys go for prenatal examination?
i am planning to do a 3d ultrasound after several months later. any recommendation of where to go?

i might also go travelling.  First i decided to go to japan, but now i will cancel my japan trip. I am still thinking if it is safe to return to hk for a week or so during my pregnancy. Although everyone says the radiation is ok in Hong Kong, i still worry as this will be my first child. I don't want anything happen to him/her. i am still holding on to my plan to hk for now..

Does anyone want to share your experience with first child and traveling during pregnancy?

I am not a woman, but just back from HK last week.  HK is so polluted and rush; are you sure you want to go there under your condition?  

You should find somewhere relax and feed with good food without any worries.  How about Hawaii instead?

Travelling? If I were you I will pass...
People say it's safe to travel by air in the 2nd trimester. But it's always less oxygen high up in the sky (not like it's going to cause harm but still). Air is dry too.
And also you may want to get doctor letter to be exclude for the x-ray body scan.

    Yeah my pregnant friend went to Hawaii ... It's sure relaxing...but for people who do not want to go for water activities, I guess it's not a perfect place?

ya, my family doctor and the other doctor also say it is safe, but i also worry about the air circulation on a plane especially when i am pregnant... it is not good to get any illness cuz i am supposed to take medication at the moment...

i will consider going to somewhere that i can relax.. probably on a cruise...

yeah. my friend went to a cruise when she was pregnant. I think she really enjoyed it.

But 2011 ..  too rush la..  2012 la.. and "Dragon girl" is better then "bunny girl" !

The other thing is you are not supposed to take some medication la...I heard that you can't have flu/cold meds over the counter unless approved by doctor. So getting "sick" is a hassle. So I wouldn't want to go to crowded place like HK.
