Judging from the look of the notebook, layout of hardware, I get a feeling that this notebook is made by the same OEM for Sony NR/CR series notebook. Sony = Sorry... you get the drift right?
Believe it or not, Canada and US still has the best price on many notebooks compare to Asia.
However, 13.3" is not something that is too common here. Comparable models are Dell XPS M1330 and Asus F7 series
13.3" notebook with a T2370 and GF8400M is just no good. T2370 is Pentium Dual Core (not even Core Duo or Core 2 Duo), running Vista will come to a crawl. The GF8400 won't be good unless the CPU is up to speed. 1GB of RAM is just not adequate these days even on XP.
Dell offered the M1330 for $900 to start with the T5450 CPU, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD. Even Asus is the OEM of Dell XPS, it is still a nicer looking (custom color) notebook w/ the spec for todays computing. You can optionally add in the GF8400M video (for gaming), and LED LCD to save power and weight. I am big fan of Dell XPS because of the quality of tech support and the look of it. Servicing XPS is much easier than other brands.
