It's called Procurement here... not purchasing..... also there is an association i believe.... I heard it before somewhere......maybe try join them and then network with those ppl..... these association usually have annual job fair too. Furthermore, if you want experience, volunteer in that association.
If you really want to do it, why not?
Invest in your education is always a smart move.
Unless you have other field you are more interested into.

I've found the association before, but i believe only if u are already in the job and affiliated with a company, or else they won't take u...
Yes volunteer is good option. Learn from the job.

I don't mind, but who would offer a volunteer opportunity for a job that's that professional sort of? Even so, where to find?
I guess I'll start from taking 1 or 2 courses at bcit and see if that gets me somewhere.
