有無人食過I-cafe D 餅﹖ D 食物一般但係D西餅好唔點。 試過食幾次D蛋糕好似“叔叔地”。投訴過幾次D waiter 解釋係outsource出便O既。 千其唔好試!!!

I go from time to time la but I won't order their cakes lor. As a matter of fact, I won't order anything that's out sources. Likewise, I won't order steak or burger in a Chinese restaurant. Generally speaking, their food is not bad, service isn't too bad either of the many times I went. Never saw anyone ordering their cakes though, maybe the spoiled desserts are from left overs that no one orders.

It was a wrong concept to start with, let's not comment on the kitchen cooked items,
as a  Pastry Shop & Restaurant
1. They do not have any trained staffs to do the pastries
2. They do not have a reliable bakery to supply pastries that their customers will order
3. Their customers do not like to order pastries at the restaurant
Most of the Chinese bakeries are retail bakeries, they do not want to do so much extra works
on specialty restaurant desserts. And most customers do not order desserts unless it is included
in the Prix Fix menu.
7 Heaven used to have nice desserts on the menu, but people only consume tons of them at the buffet.

You can find very good steaks at some of Hong Kong's finer Chinese restaurants.

I have no doubt the Chefs know how to cook a good steak, but customer do not associate steak with Chinese restaurant.
Would you go to Sun Sui Wah for a Roasted Prime Rib dinner?
It would be more logical for the  i-xxxx to serve good roasted squabs and lobster combo

omg... perhaps no one orders those pastries and they don't wanna throw them away... so leave them here for weeks?? yuck~
