Isn't that buying those Air tkt + hotel pkg deal is cheaper than booking the hotel alone gei meh?? I was planning to go to Vegas last month too..but I ended up booking it too late..hahaa ..*stupid me thinking to book the tkt on Monday and fly on Tuesday LOL*
小叻, I usually bought separately, coz most of the time it's much cheaper to fly from Seattle or Bellingham. Last x'mas I save $200 by flying from Seattle. That alone save $$ la. But of course, if there is special price on packages (I think around $500/person is decent deal for luxury hotel), then it worths to book packages.

EEE? How much is a RT tkt from Seattle to Vegas gar?? Last time when i check with the travel agent..she quoted me 4 nights hotel (Palazzo) + air tkt = CAD$650 per person~ i think its really cheap!!!!! so regret that i didnt make up my mind early ><
That's not bad wor. And of course, I have to "drive" to SecTac airport, also need to take in consideration of parking cost (about $10/day) and gas.
Say if you can book Palazzo for $159/night. 159x3x1.1(around 10% tax) + flight ($220 each) +parking $10/day+$30gas= 1050approx US$
That's still cheaper than $1300 from your quote la.
But of course, date may be not that flexible and more searching required...
Saving would be bigger if Palazzo is less than $159/night (I have seen $129/night...)

yea~ that's a really good deal~ It's a Tues departure and Sat night return~ 4 nights - tkt = around 110 / nite! some travel agent sucks..they dun really know what they are doing.. the one who quote me this good price is from "Cxxxxxxx Travel" at Parker.. and I also went to "Sxxxxxx" at Aberdeen..i asked for the same hotel..same routing..same date..and the agent at S told me that no direct flight.. and tkt alone needs 700 =_="
I went to Richmond Centre and got two tix to Vegas + 3 nites En Core hotel for 1200 and I also get $75 coupon for dinner at Encore.
Pretty good deal I think.
