Hey girls, I finally bought my cuttlebug from Michaels with that 50% off discount! I was about to give up because M's @ Marine Dr and Richmond has no stocks at all and my membership 50% off discount was expiring. I made several calls to different locations and finally bought it in West Van with the LabourDay sale!

I am just wondering where do you girls normally buy the dies and folders? Can I use other brands' folders/dies? Thanks!

By the way, M's mark up price is so high! At walmart, the machine is only $68, and M sells it for $99.99? That's such a rip off without the discount!

Congrats on getting the cuttlebug!

The folder I usually get in local stores like Scrapbook warehouse. It should be around $6-ish but Michaels regular price is 9.99! So it works out better price when there is discount in local stores.
And it works well with Nestabilities die cut.

In Walmart, some folders are $4, and I think it's fair enough.

I've called Michaels just now.  They said they seem like they are having some problems with the dealer so that's why they weren't able to recieve or order any machines from them.  And they've checked others store for me.  The only store that has it is the Langley store.  They have one but they can't do any internal transfers. >.<

U  know what I just found out that actually Taiwan has it's own cuttlebug machine as well.  They have different sizes of machines.  They have one large machine which can cut or emboss A4 paper.  They also have different kinds of die cuts and embossing folders.  As well, in their website, they have a free idea page where you can look at their finished products and get some designing ideas.
