加國記者到港才知電梯靜

有首次抵港的加國英文傳媒代表對於香港的設備，讚嘆不已。一眾記者乘坐位於港島金鐘的酒店電梯時，不禁驚嘆電梯如此靜以及如此高速，隨即有人說，這次訪華行程令他感受北美洲的基礎建設多落後。又說，此行三個站最喜歡香港，也看到亞洲的經濟增長，以及金融實力的「威力」。
    在場的華裔傳媒對此就覺得，加國部分傳媒記者似有點大鄉里出城，香港很多電梯都是很寧靜和很快，沒感覺升降中的電梯在動，沒甚麼大不了。
    哈珀訪華行程看來不僅帶來指定旅遊目的地等實質成果，似乎也加強了加國一些主流傳媒對中國的認識。
    不少首次訪華的加國記者都表示，此行大開眼界，他們想像中的中國，原來和親眼看到的中國是有分別的。

Put it this way, they are about the same .. with some mall/hotel in HK, they just set their 電梯 a bit faster ..

Plus, the fact is, it is SO DAMN noisy in HK anyway, so by comparision, everything else is quiet ...  people said how come cell phone ring tone is so loud in Canada as well la..

(by the way, this kind of thread .... is very ..  Mr. T style wor .. )

I don't really agree ..  it is basically same case here, some Honger come here, they seem 無知 as well ..  and 白人 may laugh at them ..

唔知道一條光籤的方程式無人會笑你﹐但連看見電梯都“哇”一聲是否有點好笑﹖

So I always tell my colleagues & friends that I am CHINESE CANADIAN, "CHINESE" comes first

i bet that reporter is from ottawa and since there are not a whole of tall buildings in there so its not surprising ...that reporter shuld try to ride some of those in the older buildings in hk
