中國基督教播道會港福堂主任牧師吳宗文今年 2月 7日，在香港華人基督教聯會舉辦的「為香港求平安」祈禱會上，引用《聖經．羅馬書》，向現場近百參加者宣稱：「信徒要順服執政掌權者，原因是政府所代表的管治和秩序是神所肯定的。」「信徒當尊重長官，因為他們是神的用人……」他又認為現今在港論政或參政者，須「從歷史現實出發，立足於對《基本法》和一國兩制架構之肯定，並尊重中國對香港有主、治權之事實。」

浸會大學宗教及哲學系高級講師陳士齊認為，吳宗文抽空硬套《聖經》的經文，「香港「官商教勾結」勢力，已經成形。

竟然引用聖經：「信徒要順服執政掌權者，原因是政府所代表的管治和秩序是神所肯定的。」 Bull ****!

I make my own judgment and decide what to agree or disagree. But I don't agree with people who purposely misquote him and tried to mislead other people.

I don’t just agree with what he said because he is a pastor; and it is same that I won’t automatically reject his points because he is a pastor. Even if he was a leader of a different religion (and quoted from different 經文, like 金鋼經 or 可蘭經), I would still agree with what he said in many points.

People can agree or disagree with what he said, but I don’t agree with people who purposely misquoted him and tried to mislead other people.
