futures are way up right now but are on its way down

it should be a turning point

Unless US (not just the government but every one) face the truth, understand it and take the right approach to change their life style and their way of invest, not just blaming others, I can't see there is anyway they can get out of recession.  And don't forget they are wasting money on war.
