you're right, the Japanese guide told us that it's not easy to buy anything "made in Japan", 99.99% is made in China... so shall we propose "stop buying from Japanese brandname or companies"? it makes more sense....
But then if not buying Made in China Japanese Brand .. then sounds weird weird day wor ..
罷買日貨 .. so .. dont want Japanese brands to make money .. however, they are all made in China .. ( or Thailand etc ) then means less CHINA MADE products to export ..

I remember one friend of mine, somehow, he hates japanese since he loves China .... and doesn't want to drive japanese cars, ( so, go domestic ) and doesn't want to use Japanese brand electronic ( so, go domestic or korean ) but then most the japan brand electronic are made in China .. and most the japanese brands cars are made in US or Canada ...
Japanese goods might not be "made in Japan" nowadays. When people say boycott Japanese goods, should it be not buying made in Japan products or Japanese brand names (even made in China or other countries)? Or anything related to Japan? How about people dine in a sushi restaurant but runs by Vietnamese owner and food source not from Japan? LOL
The only product famous from Philippines comes to my mind is 芒果乾. LOL
