Isn't crab need to be "fresh"???? Those ones are pretty much dead and frozen...

Hibernation, keep the level of nitrogen high
so the crab would be sleeping.
I used to keep the  live crab in the freezer
when I was in HK, they stay alive

Keep prawn & crab in the fridge for a while won't kill them... They can still alive for another day or two...
