Have you got the BC enhanced drivers license? Is it useful at all?

No. It is only useful if you don't get a passport.

Still somewhat useful ge. You automatically bring your driver's licence with you every time you drive ga mah. But you won't automatically take your passport with you.

$35 for 5 years. So it's only $7 a year je.

Appointment and interview, yes. But if you are renewing your licence anyway, you need to pay a visit to the licence center anyway, and the appointment can be booked online from ICBC's website, I think. So I don't see how the appointment is really that troublesome.

As to the interview, you really just do it on the spot. It does take a bit of time since they have to ask you a whole bunch of questions. But it's nothing difficult at all.

I think it's $35 regardless of how soon your licence is due.

If you are not up for a licence renewal, then it may not be worth the cost and the trouble to get it. But if you were going to get your licence renewed anyway, then $35 extra isn't that much law.

The EDL is useless, just get Nexus. EDL only good for land travel.
