Buying a new car

We are thinking of buying a brand new 2010 Corolla or Impreza.

Does anyone know how much % we can negotiating from the listing price.
I know Toyota does not have any room to talk before, what about after all these problems?

thanks

how abt honda civic or fit?

No matter what make and model, if prices are so called fixed, you may try to ask for free upgrade (eg. DVD player system), or free mats, mud guards...etc la.

go for impreza lah AWD safe on any weather

it worth every peny you spend

usually dealers has lowest season in Dec to March good time to shop and bargin now

AWD certainly has its appeal, and I wouldn't mind driving one myself. But I'd say proper snow tires make a bigger difference than AWD in winter driving ge. In the summer or rainy weather, all seasons are good enough for street use ga la.

Also, you pay a gas mileage penalty as well as a price tag penalty with the Impreza. But that is not to say the car is a bad car.

not that much to negotiate unless u know someone who works there

Toyota wor ..   they hv bigger margin then other brand, and more room to negociate wor ..

Back to winter driving ..   it is true ..  dont need AWD .. when u put snow tires on ..

But in Van ...  all season is good enough .. esp with AWD ..

what about repair cost compared between the impreza and corolla?
thanks for all the valuable feedback, coz I dont know much about cars.

U pay more for service/maintain/repair on AWD then FWD/RWD anyway ..
